Today we're taking a look at a CE Smith U-bolt. This heavy duty U-bolt lets you secure a bracket to your boat trailer. It's made from a steel construction with a galvanized finish on it, so it's galvanized steel. It does a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. It is suitable for saltwater exposure. Mounting hardware is included, so you get the U-bolt, you get your split lock washers, and you get the nuts.
Product's made in the USA.A few measurements to go over with you real quick, starting with the inner width. That's inside edge to inside edge. It gives us a measurement of one and nine-sixteenths inches. The length is measured from the bottom of this bar to the end of the threads. That gives us a measurement of about four and one-sixteenth inches.
The bolt size is a half-inch by 13, and the threaded portion measures around two inches long. That's going to do it for today's look at the CE Smith U-bolt.

- Recommended U-Bolt for 1-1/2 Inch x 3 Inch Trailer Frame For a u-bolt that will fit a 3" tall x 1-1/2" wide trailer frame you can use the CE Smith U-Bolt part # CE15282GA for 1/2" diameter or part # CE15281GA for 7/16" diameter. Please note, the u-bolt width must be wider than the width of your frame in order to attach, otherwise it would not work which is why you need the 1-9/16" width listed above.
